In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
WON THE PROPHET’S FOLLOWERS
AND DID NOT GIVE UP MY LOVE TO HIS FAMILY
Thanks to God almighty and peace be upon his prophet Mohamed and whoever followed him to dooms day,
Before you, dear reader is few papers in which I have included all my thoughts and questions that have led me to a path that have not even come across my mind.
It is the most challenging days of the human’s life, the challenge between right and wrong, the inheritance of believes against reality.
An experience that may look from the first instance as a personal one, but it is not, for it is mine, yours, and the experience of many more who were born and raised according to certain beliefs and concepts, and wiling to sacrifice and defend with their lives, but finally realized that the correct matter is otherwise and the bigotry to such belief for the sake of family, clan and child is like choosing the worst instead of the best and what God have is much more better and lasting.
Abukhalifa
Ali Al Qudaibi
27.03.2005.
Background
I was born in a shia’at house that approaches God by serving the religion on educational and ceremonial levels.
Upon the death of my father, my uncle who is a cleric and a graduate of one on the educational schools in (Jidhafs area) Bahrain and completed his religious study in Qum – Iran, become our guardian (me and my brothers).
He was eager not to allow us associate with bad people and not to act in such a manner that may affect our reputation, ethics and ultimately anger’s God and to such an extent, when he came to know that I intend to study music after completing my secondary studies and wish to become a music teacher, that he was very mad at me and told me that “you have not found anybody to guide you during your childhood in addition to the harsh life you are living, therefore, you have to listen to my advise”.
I can say that my uncle has the greatest role in changing this idea in addition to other reasons that have prevented me from pursuing such direction.
As for my mother, she was eager to take part in all religious events (the sad and happy ones) seeking merit being a faithful servant of Imam Hussain. Sickness was not an impediment from participation for her and considered a sin while participation in such events brings relief and blessing.
My grandfather (Mother’s father) used to make drums in his early days which were used for Tatbeer (use of swords to make cuts in the skull) during Ashoora processions and for festivals performed during the last days of Ramadan (farewell night). Furthermore, my family and I were followers of Alsayed Al khoee.
Being a product of such environment, I was keen, during my childhood to attend (Ma’atam Haj Abbas) in Hammam neighborhood in Manama in every event to ensure carrying the banner used during these processions before any body and at a later age started using chains for back beating.
During school days, my school mates and I were eager to attend all religious events which were our time off from school and books and most of the students, with the blessing of certain teachers) absent themselves during these days to take part in these processions. On the other hand, some of the young men find these days as a golden opportunity to chase girls God forbids).
As for my family, they were very much interested in sacrifices especially with my aunt (mother’s sister) suffered many miscarriages (infant either dies before or right after birth) and therefore have made an offering to Imam Ali that if she ever gets a healthy baby to bring him in the morning of every Ashoora (tenth of Muharram), joins the tatbeer procession wearing white shrouds covered with the blood of all the participants and later rides a horse similar to that of the martyred imam. After some years my aunt has given birth to a boy named Aqeel who after years of practicing this filament, realized that sacrifices should not be offered except to God and Imam Ali is human and no offering should be made to him or to other human beings, nor by invocation, calling for help or offering sacrifices thereto and made his father realize that such act is not correct. These days, such matter is only a story to be laughed at with his friends.
Another story which is no less funny than Aqeel’s, happened to me when I was a child and had to undergo a surgery in my neck, after few days from the operation the stitches broke and had to undergo another operation. My mother told me that my condition was very bad and was between life and death, and owing to the fear of loosing me, consulted one of clerics who advised her to go to one of the holy places in Sugaia Area in Manama, make a special offering and begs for my recovery as the rest of the shia’at will do when visiting such shrines and those buried therein for they grant blessings and abolish any harm.
For reasons beyond her control and years after this incident in which my mother was not able to make such offering, and after me becoming a Sunni by grace of God, my family wanted to prove to me that such conversion is an offence and injustice to the prophets family and reminded me of my mother’s offering and said clearly that “If it is not for the Prophet’s family you would not have cured and not alive till this day and warned me from being lenient in this subject and advised me to go with them to the same shrine to present the offering so that no harm may afflict me or even die. After times of persuasion to go to that shrine and become a shia’at my answer was No, but the funny thing about this shrine is, after years of worship and offerings presented by the shia’at, they discovered that all the stories that have been told about it was false and was demolished entirely thereafter with the grace God.
Imam Khoe’e image appears on the moon
After the death of Imam Khoe’e who is considered as the highest reference and leader of the educational collage in Najaf (Iraq) and after the march made in his honour and later a replica of the coffin was held, the participants were surprised by the news received from Makharga neighborhood stating that Imam Khoe’e image was seen on the moon. I did not believe this news but people from Manama confirmed it and soon the news spread and was believed by many people mostly the women.
We were surprised when certain people taking part in carrying the Imam’s replica coffin pointed to the moon and claimed the same thing. My friend asked me if such thing is visible, I said no and my friend said the same thing but I turned to him and asked why you claimed that you have seen the image and you did not, he replied, cant you see how these people are acting, I am afraid that they might beat me up if I say otherwise and we both laughed and left the place.
One of the people in Manama commented on this subject by saying, when Prophet Mohamed died his image was not seen on the moon, so why the khoee’s image?
Most Irritating matters in the Religion
The first real clash for me with my religion was the moral side and in the beginning I used to console my self upon noticing certain personal actions which, to my opinion, has nothing in any manner to do with the religion until the day when I realized the truth about these matters:
-
Cursing the prophet’s followers.
-
Mota’a (Delectation).
-
Supplication of people other than God, all mighty.
These three matters where the fuse that triggered my real conversion from a shia’at to a becoming a Sunni (the religion I was raised to hate the most).
Cursing the Prophet’s followers
Before converting to a Sunni, I used to hate the Prophet’s followers thinking that they have unjustly treated his family but never cursed the followers once for the matter was ethical and aside from what my real thoughts about them.
I thought no religion would call for such acts and have never heard of a religion that has impelled its followers to curse dead people and even when going to toilets – God forbids – as indicated in the (News Pearls) for Mohamed Al Tuseerkani (4/92) who quoted that: You have to remember that the best and proper places and times to remember the Prophet’s followers is when you are you go to the toilet and have to say "Oh God inflict thou curse upon Omar & Aba Baker, Omar & Othman, Omar & Moawiah, Omar…….Etc., God inflict thou curse upon Aisha, Hafsa, Hind, Um Al Hakam and curse whoever is content with their actions until dooms day".
I have realized that these actions that never been practiced by me and being criticized deeply in my heart were, the fruit of this instigative notion against the followers. Our stories have clearly contributed to the emotional provocation of our feelings towards the cursing of the followers and whoever is connected to them and by claiming that they disbelieve in God and have gone back to the stone worshiping days and deserve to be cursed and consider them apostates. All these stories are recorded in our old and new books.
Some of the stories that support such saying is what have been indicated in Rejal Al Kashe (Al Kashe Men) “Hanan bin Sudair, from his father and from Abe Jaafar (pbuh) said” People were apostates after the Prophet except for three, and asked who they were, he said “Al Meqdad bin Al Aswad, Abu Tharr Al Ghefari and Salman Al Faresi and after a short while he added that, these people were harassed and declined to name Aba Baker as Khalifa (ruler) until Ali was forced to come and accept Aba Baker as ruler".
The stories narrate that; other four men have joined the other three so the number of the faithful ones during the followers' time (as they claim) reached to seven but have not exceeded this number.
More narrations indicated that "Al Hareth bin Al Moghera Al Nasre Said "I heard Abdul Malik bin A'ayen kept asking Aba Abdullah "pbuh" about this matter until he said: so all the people have been perished after the death of the Prophet and naming Aba Baker as the ruler after him, yes Ibn A'ayen all of them have died and I asked him, all people from east and west? he said "it has been opened on aberrancy, all have been perished and than followed by Abu Sasan".
The statues of Quraish and other invocations filled with the cursing of Aba Baker and Omar "the two faithful men" and calling them names, was the fruit of this atonement notion of the Prophet's followers.
I stood a long time at this Quaranic verse "And the first to lead the way, of the Muhajirin and Ansar, and those who followed them in goodness Allah is well pleased with him and he hath made ready for them garden underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide for ever. That is the supreme triumph. "At taubah 100", and realized that the text is ingenuous that Allah, the almighty were content with all the previous ansar and muhajirin mainly (Aba Baker, Omar, Othman, Talha, Alzubair, Saad bin Abi Waqas, Abdulla bin Masoud, Saad bin Ma'ad and others more, the Shia'at are cursing them today.
I have asked my self, would a sensible man say that the prophet followers have misjudged Ali and extorted his right in becoming the ruler while God, Almighty clearly inform us that he is content with them and has arranged paradises for them.
The Prophet "pbuh" prior to his death was content with his followers and mainly Aba Baker, Omar and Othman and verses of quran have commanded them and later on after the death of the Prophet "pbuh" were considered not worthy and moreover have warped the Quran and altered the provisions of the religion. Would you believe that God, Almighty would not know that these people will retrograde after the death of the prophet? People deeply believe that God, almighty knows what happened and what will happen which are being confirmed by the quranic verses that include praising while the shaiat consider them as hypocrites and apostates.
Would God, almighty, wanted to deceive his prophet by praising his followers and being content with in addition to being
DELECTATION MARRIAGE
The delectation, aside being permitted and approved by us, the shia'at, there was something inside me that prevented me from committing such act long before knowing it was forbidden and whenever anyone starts a discussion to prove such act, I ask him a simple question which is whether he approves such act to any female member of his family, the answer is always NO and sometimes triggers anger.
The sanction of the delectation was only temporary and was later forbidden in sound candid narrations by the Prophet until doomsday and on the other hand in the shia'at heritage, recitals of Al Al Bait (the Prophet's family) confirming such act but with no response from our people to such matter.
Abdulla bin Sinan Said "I have asked Aba Abdulla about delectation? He answered me saying "do not dirty yourself therewith".
Ali bin Yaqteen also said "Asked Aba Al Hasan about delectation? He said why you asked about such a thing and God has awarded you with much better".
Hesham bin Al Hakam for Aba Abdulla said "only the licentious would do it".
As for the Tousi, he narrated in Al Estebsar (3/142) Umer bin Khalid for Zaid bin Ali for his parents for Ali said "The Prophet (pbuh) has forbidden the local red flesh and the delectation". As a way out Tousi said "in order to explain this narration, it was said as tuqya (a lie) for it confirms with the public religion" and therefore he approved it since Sunnis have forbidden it.
Religion's Discrepancies
We have learned since our childhood to commemorate Ashoora with chest beating and weeping while remembering the agony of Aba Abdulla, but has any one of us thought about what all these actions and evidence from the sharia'a from quran or Sunna or all the evidences condemn our actions? No one.
Years of my life have gone by and nothing has changed until certain changes led to becoming a sunni. Never imagined that I am living in such an illusion which I have lived during that period.
The cleric Tabrezi is enquiring about the Hussaini filaments and the extent of its legality? His answer was "the shia'at, during the imams age were living in a state of tugya (lie) and the lack of filaments during their time does not mean it is not legal at this time but if the shia'at are living in the same time in which they can show the filaments as we do these days not only by flying the black flags at the doors of the mourning places but also in our houses to show the extent of our grief.
The matter is a mere of approval by the religion's clerics with evidence from Quran or Sunna to support the legality of actions performed during the days of Muharram in the name of commemorating the God's filaments.
If you examine the narrations of Al-Al Bait and the what has been said by the old shaiat clerics, you will find something different, Babawayh Al Qummi indicated in his book (Who has not consulted a cleric 4/376) that "certain words of the Prophet which was not narrated except by al Qummi: (Weeping is the act of pre-Islam).
Noori Al Tubrosi has narrated in his book (Mustadrak Al Wasael 1/143-144), for Ali said "Three things are of pre-Islam acts people are still performing until dooms day: augury, defamation and weeping over the dead).
Mohamed Baqer Al Majlesi has narrated in his book (Behar Al Anwar) for Ali who said: when Ebrahim, the Prophet's son died, the Prophet asked me to prepare him for burial, after that asked to carry him, I carried him until we reached Al Baqea (burial place) than he performed the death prayer, and when he saw his son flat in the grave started to cry and so with the Muslims who came to the cemetery to witness the burial, and when their weeping started to become loud, the Prophet forbid them from doing so and said: the eye would shed its tears, the heart becomes sad and would not say any thing that makes the lord angry, we are sad for your death).
Notice the Prophet and Ali's attitude from weeping and how its prevention and description from a pre-Islamic act has turned into a recommended act.
Since it was clear that weeping was prevented, Tousi and Ibn Hamza have declared that weeping is prevented and Tousi has gone further in saying that the Shia'at have unanimously agreed to such prevention at his time.
So the narrations have provided that chest beating and face smacking are acts which God (Almighty) and his Prophet do not sanction and so with the Imams.
Imam AL Baqer said "The worst fear is shouting, chest beating, smacking faces, hair pulling and whoever weeps; he would have abandoned the patience and pursued a different path".
It was narrated that, the Imam Hussain once told his sister Zainab "oh sister, fear God, be patient and notice that all humans will die so with those in heaven and every thing is doomed except God who have created every thing in this universe, my father, mother and brother are better than I do and every Muslim should consider the prophet as his ideal person). He console her with these words and added "Sister, I have taken an oath and you should abide by it if for any reason I was killed, do not tear your clothes, smack your face or do as the pre-Islam people do".
Therefore, Mohamed bin Makki Al A'ameli (the first martyr) narrated from Al Tousi saying (beating, scratching or hair pulling are forbidden as these actions will generates Gods anger". As for wearing black, Imam Ali said "do not wear black for it’s the pharos dress".
I gave these matters a great deal of thought and with these narrations that forbids weeping, beating and wearing black being raised to notice and accept thinking that whatever I do demonstrates my love to the Prophet's family and
whatever we were doing in the worship house is a clear violation to their sayings and narrations and most important to what the Prophet (pbuh) has advised.
My story with the Sorcerer
In our area, Gudaibia, there was a famous man who used to treat patients and peoples problems by Quran and certain invocations.
After becoming a Sunni and the incapability of my family, friends and others to convince me otherwise, certain bad things were said in order to force me to become a shia'at. This sorcerer, who was believed to be of great knowledge and conciliate amongst the shia'at volunteered to take up the task of convincing me to go back to the right path and started to get closer to me and in a diplomatic approach, told me that his father was my father's colleague and started telling me things amongst was opening the Holy Quran in a random manner and mumbled with words which I did not know and told me to read versus of the Quran which he said that is a warning for me.
He said that this quranic verse is a mercy an it is best for me if I implement it and will hear it more frequently this night to confirm what he said. What he said was true for as soon as I entered my car and switched the radio on, I heard the same quranic verse. I called this person and told him that, whatever you said was true, he smiled and said, God loves you and you will succeed in your life if you implement such verse.
Upon reaching my house, I switched the television on and to my surprise the same verse was being read. I thought about what that person said and quickly opened the Holy Quran which I keep a copy in the house in a random manner and to my surprise it was the same verse.
I was able to sleep that night, not of fear from him or whatever action he may come up with, but what has happened to me has possessed my mind and though how could he be genuine in all this and how did this happen to me and why?
Few days later, I was surprised to see a shia'at friend of mine who lives in this same area telling me that: I was told from people in the area that the man – the sorcerer – told them that the guy from gudaibia (me) would soon become a shia'at as he was before, I laughed and told this friend, does this man know the future or is he a sorcerer?
I gave this matter a great deal of though and remembered what this friend told me and the Quranic verse I kept hearing and said yes, this person is more likely a sorcerer and started thinking what this particular person might want from me? To find more about this person, I asked my father's friend who told me that, this person is not a good one as most of the people think he is, but a person who deals with the genies.
Days have passed and this person was trying to persuade me that he wanted what was best for me and the best is to follow the Ahl Al Bait ideology (which he does not follow).
In order to find out more about him and know what he has stored for me, asked him more than once about monotheism and polytheism and you could see that he was not capable of answering any of my questions or arguments.
In a meting which included a great number of shia'at and some sonnies of the area, asked this man few questions concerning matters about polytheism and indicated certain matters done by him that night. He was not able to answer my questions and to our surprise, the man ran away from that meeting and was exposed to every body and remembered what has God said "and a wizard shall not be successful to whatever point (of skill) he may attain (Taha 69)" and also in (Alnisa 76) "The devil's strategy is ever weak".
Our friend was not satisfied with that but he his best to drive me away from the area in order not to affect others claiming that I have evil thoughts.
All his tricks and moves were open and being exposed to the people, he stopped going out and was known in the area as the sorcerer and whenever he meets someone from the area, he tries to find excuses for himself claiming that whatever he did, was for a good cause.
I do not know where these people from the clear quranic versus and converses that condemn witchcraft and sorcerers and clearly indicate their misbelieving, and what is this right that triumphs with witchcraft and sorcery instead of evidence and proof.
These are our narrations which say "The Prophet said "beware of the seven offences" they said, what they are? He said "polytheism and witchcraft".
Imam Ali said "whoever sought a sorcerer asked and believed what he said; he is considered as a disbeliever to whatever sent down to Mohamed".
Bigotry may kill
If bigotry fully extends, mercy and morals will be extorted from people and you will notice certain funny and bewept incidents.
I can recall two incidents that have happened, one to me after becoming a sunni and the other to a child who does not know anything about our bigotries that consumed every thing.
While I was coming out of the mosque after finishing the Aser prayer, noticed an old shia'at women called (umm Ebrahim) who knows me and my family very well, she was carrying a bag which contains certain household items she must have bought, after greeting her, she asked about me, grandmother, mother, sisters and brothers. In order to assist her, I took the bag and walked to her house which is close to the mosque. She asked where you are coming from and with a spontaneous reply said from the mosque. She got mad and spit in my face and said, may your face turn into black, I was told that you have converted into a sunni, but I did not believe them.
The story of Omar bin Ali was told to me by one of his uncles who said "Omar's grandmother was a very old one from Gudaibia and has good relations with shia'at women in the area and to the extent that she sits with them in the house of worship (Ma'atam). Once she was sitting with those women accompanied by her grandson Omar who was very young and even could not pronounce his name. Omar was playing in the Ma'atam's yard with the other children when he suddenly fell down and stated to cry, one of the ladies (from the adjacent areas to ours) tried to comfort him in order to stop crying and asked what is your name? The boy said Amal (Omar), she asked him again because she did not hear him properly the first time, the boy said the same thing, the grandmother said in front of the ladies, his name is Omar. The grandmother was surprised when the woman pushed the child and said "may God curse you, Omar, whoever named you Omar and whoever would call his son Omar". Right after that, the grandmother left that place and never entered it again.
The History of Ahl Al Bait (Prophet's family) rules out the Imamah Ideology
Whoever examines the Shia'at historical heritage will find out that the Imamah ideology which the Shia'at support and provoke today was not fully complete or clear to the shia'at themselves until the death of Imam Hasan Al Askari and the separation of the Shia'at to many groups and one of them is the Ethna Ashariyah and the Ismaeiliah.
The revolution idea against the Amaween and Abbaseen, and the Alaween's right to the Khilafat (rule) is the idea that overcomes everyone and was the lead which all the Shia'at at that time began thereof without defining a list with the names of twelve Imams.
Therefore, the ordinary shia'at could not recognize much between the imams of Ahl Al Bait but would join any movement started by an imam or mutineer as for the Imam Zaid bin Ali, Thul Nafs Al Zakiya and other movements.
If we look close, particularly in the period that followed the murder of Hussain, we will notice that Ali bin AL Hussain (Zain Al Abedeen) – who is the fourth Imam from the twelve – has given up the Shia'at political activity and leaving the leadership to other Imams from Ahl Al Bait in leading the Shia'at and to deal with their problems and revolutions, occupied himself with the worshiping and was known for being asceticism and prayers and the Mofeed and Al Arbali indicated that (he used to make one thousand bowings every
day and night) and all what has been indicated about this godly imam was only advises, invocations and certain sharia'a provisions which the recent clerics normally advise.
This clear gap in the case of his encounter to the Imamah made the Shia'at clerics eager to fill this gap by indicating numerous stories about his miracles and complement him seeking to prove this imamah while the fact that the shia'at at that time indicate their respect and acknowledgement to his education and favor not for being a political leader or imam.
Therefore, Zaid bin Ali was surprised upon his arrival to Kofa with the theory of (Moa'men Al Taq) and his followers who confirmed the Hussain bin Ali (Zain Al Abedeen) was imam and told Moa'men Al Taq during their conversation "Aba Jaafar, I was sitting with my father – Ali bin AL Hussain – at the table and was giving me the good food and cools the ones that are hot fearing that it may burn my intestine and has not feared the heat of hell, so he told you about the religion and did not tell me), Moa'men Al Taq answered (Because he was concerned about you not to be affected by the heat of hell he did not tell and was afraid that you may not accept it and would go to hell and told me. If you accept, you will be safe otherwise he was not concerned if I enter hell which is the same with Yaqoub who did not tell his sons about the vision.
Imagine the idea, the son of the Imam does not know about his father being the imam, not hearing from him or any one at that time about the idea of his father's confrontation to the Imamah and here comes (Moa'men Al Taq) and others like him from Kofa with such claim after the death of his father (Zain Al Abedeen).
This is one the shia'at history sides that should not be ignored in addition to other more that warrants the overruling of the Imamah theory.
There are many shia'at narration that claims the possibility of their ignorance of the Imam, define the stance at that time which we could not imagine in the imamah ideology in which the shia'at should believe in twelve Imams, know their names and whose sons are they.
Al Kulaini narrated in Al Kafi that, a man asked Imam Aba Abdullah (what would I do if I do not see an Imam to follow during the night and day?) he replied (you should love whoever you love and hate whoever you hate until God (Almighty) brings him about).
The sincere narrated from Imam Sadiq that " How would be if live a long time without knowing your Imam? It was said, if so what would we do, he said "you hold on to the first one until you find out".
The Kulaini, the Sincere and Al Mofeed narrated from Issa bin Abdulla Al Alawi Al Omari, from Abi Abdulla and from Abi Jaafar bin Mohamed said "I you die, who should be my Imam? He pointed to Moosa; I said "if Moosa dies, who should be the Imam? He said "his son" and I said "if his passed away and left a big brother and a young son, who should be the imam? He said "his son and so on, I said "if I do not know him or where he lives, what should I do? He said "you say (God I shall choose whoever is alive from the past Imam and this would be sufficient).
There are other narration from Zurarah bin A'ayan, Yaqoub bin Shuaib and Abd Al A'ala that they asked Imam Sadiq: if any thing happened to the Imam, what would the people do? He said "they have to be as God said "Of every troop of them, a party only should go forth, that they (who are left behind) may gain sound knowledge in religion" (At Tauba 122) until he says "they may beware", I said "what is their situation, he said "they are excused", I said "what about the people waiting for the jurist? He said "mercy on you, don't you know that a period of two hundred and fifty years between Mohamed and Issa, some of Issa's followers have died waiting for Mohamed's religion and those rewarded twice by God (Almighty)? I said "we left and some of us died on the way" he said "whoever leaves his home migrating to God and his Prophet and dies during that time, God shall reward him", I said "We reached Medina and found the person is closing his doors and blinds? He said "This would not happen except for a clear reason which is when you enter Medina", I said "who was delegated by this person?" They said "to that person".
There are also many narration indicating that many Imams do not know of their leadership or whoever succeed them except before dying and the same with the Shia'at Imamiah themselves who got confused after the death of every Imam and used to beg every Imam to appoint his successor and to clearly name him so that they would not die and not knowing the identity of the new Imam.
In Basaer Al Darajat for Abi Jaafar Mohamed Al Saffar – who is one of Imam Hasan Al Askari's followers – in a Chapter under the title of (Chapter of Imams knowing to who they will recommend before they die and as they were inspired by God'.
Here are certain narration that have been narrated by Abdul Rahman Al Kharraz which states that, Aba Abdulla said "Ismail, the son of Ebrahim had a little son who loved him very much so with Ismail but God forbid that and Ismail said: oh Ismail, that is the person" and when Ismail was dying and his heir came said "dear son, if your time ever comes, do as I am doing". Therefore before any Imam dies, God would inspire him who he should recommend.
In Basaer Al Darajat also a chapter under the name of "A chapter in which the Imam before dying knows who would come after him"
As a natural result to this ambiguity that surrounds the Imamah ideology – the imam himself would not know who would come after him except before dying – most of the shia'at were lost between this Imam and another in addition to senior narrators and followers of the imam".
One of the senior narrators and follower of Imam Al Baqer and Al Sadiq, Zurarah bin A'ayan, died without knowing the Imam who will come after Imam Al Sadiq. For this purpose Zurarah sent his son from Kofa to Medina to find out for him, who is the new Imam? Before dying he placed the Quran on his chest and said "oh God, please witness that I shall follow whoever is confirmed Imam by this book". If he or other followers knew that the Imam who came after Jaafar Al Sadiq was Moosa Al Kadhim would have believed in him without the need to ask or becoming suspicious.
Al Saffar, Al Kulaini, Al Mofeed and Al Kashi mentioned the confirmation of most of the followers like Hesham bin Salem Al Jawaleqi and Mohamed bin Al Noaman – in the beginning – to naming Abdulla Al Aftah as Imam after his father Jaafar Al Sadiq owing to the narration of Abi Abdulla who said "The matter is in the eldest unless he suffers no deformity" in addition to the persistence of Ammar Al Sabati (who is one of the followers of Imam A Baqer and Imam Al Sadiq) to confirm whether Abdulla Al Aftah as Imam.
Hesham bin Salem Al Jawaleqi once went with a group of shia'at to Abdulla Al Aftah and asked him certain matters in feqh which he could not answer them properly that lead to suspecting him as the Imam and left his place (puzzled
And sat in alleys of Kofa weeping and distorted without knowing where we should go or to whom we should seek and say "to morjea'a, Zaydiah, Moatazelah, Khawarij? Until I saw an old man pointing to me and said "come in: not to Morjea'a, Qadriyah, Zaydiah or to the Khawarij, to me to me", I said your faith has gone, he said yes and I replied who would be for us after him? He said "God will lead you to your aim", I said "would that be you?" he said no, I did not say so, I said to myself, my problem has not been solved and asked the old man if he has an Imam, he said no, at that time something big was inside me no one but god knew for having great respect for this man".
In this narration, Hesham said that people, in the beginning, at least, decided to name Abdulla Al Aftah as Imam and the senior Imams did not know of any text about Imam Al Kadhim who was not ready to announce it before the public. And whether the story about Hesham bin Salem and his people's retreat was true or not for naming Abdulla Al Aftah as Imam during his life or not for the Aftah died seventy days after the death of his father without having a son to be named Imam after him which created another crisis within the Imamiah at that time. Some have backed off from naming him Imam and had his name deleted from the list of Imams and had faith in the new Imam (Moosa bin Jaafar) being the mosawiyah while others like Abdulla bin Bakeer and Ammar bin Moosa Al Sabati of naming his brother Moosa after him as
Imam and those were known as the Futheiyah who were the senior followers of Imam Sadiq and the rest of the subsequent Imams.
Dear reader, do not imagine that the matter was settled after such maze and resound, but once the Imamah theory started to pick up its breath after the commandment to Ismail, the crises of Abdulla Al Aftah and his death without a successor and than the crisis of confirming Al Kadhim as Imam, until a new crises happened after the death of Imam Al Kadhim in the prison of Haroon Al Rasheed in Baghdad in the year (183 Hijra) in a mysterious way and what the rest of the Shia'at say about the running away and hiding of the imam.
The death of AL Kadhim was really a mystery and was not clear to most of his sons, students and followers, some of whom were the unanimity and the trusted narrators like Ali bin Abi Hamzah, Ali bin Al Khattab, Ghaleb bin Othman, Mohamed bin Ishaq bin Ammar Al Taglobi Al Sairafi, Ishaq bin Jareer, Moosa bin Baker, Waheeb bin HAfs Al Jariri, Yahya bin Al Hussain bin Zayed bin Ali bin AL Hussain, Yahya bin AL Qassim Al Hatha'a (Abu Baseer), Abdul Rahman bin AL Hajaj, Refa'a bin Moosa, Yunus bi Yaqoub, Jameel bin Darraj, Hammad bin Issa, Ahmed bin Mohamed bin Abi Nasr, Al Mehran and other trusted followers.
The main reason for the confirmation of Imam Kadhim by the Mosawe Shaiat and deny the confirmation of his son's as being imam is the existence of many narration of that Al Kadhim is the expected Mahdi and his inevitable return after his death which was referred and discussed some of them in Tousi's book (Al Ghaibah).
The doubts and queries continued about the manner of how Ali Al Reda knew about his father's death, when he knew and when he knew of becoming imam after his father and was there any separation between the death of Al Kadhim and the knowledge of his son and ultimately becoming Imam after him?.
At that time, the shia'at grew more suspicious in the modern imam Al Reda which was common amongst them: (the imam would not be prepared for burial except by an imam) and said: how did Ali Al Reda prepared his father for burial who died in Baghdad while he was in Medina?
Therefore, the confirmation of Ali bin Moosa Al Reda as imam was not obscure to the majority of the shia'at only but also to the imam Al Kadhim's sons and his beloved wife (Um Ahmed) as indicated in the history.
One of the narrations states that "when the shia'at in Medina heard about the death of Imam Al Kadhim gathered at (Um Ahmed) door and recognized Ahmed son of Imam Al Kadhim as the new imam and he accepted it.
While the Imamiah were trying to confirm Al Reda as imam through the text and miracles, Imam Al Reda died in Khurasan the year (203 Hijra) and was his son (Mohamed Al Jawad) was seven years old which caused a new crisis amongst the Imamiah and formed a new challenge to the newly born theory, for God would not name a small child who was not allowed to act on his own, dispose of his own money and was not legally entrusted to become imam and lead the Muslims taking into consideration that he had no chance of learning from his father who left him in Medina when he was four years of age.
This matter has lead to division of Shia'at Imamiah to many groups:
|
a) |
A group confirmed Kadhim as Imam and retrieved in recognizing Al Reda As Imam and refused to acknowledge Al Jawad as Imam. |
|
b) |
Another group nominated Imam Al Reda's brother (Ahmed bin Moosa) who acknowledged the Al Zaydieh's opinion and went out with Abe Al Saraya in Kofa. This brother was highly respected and loved by his brother Al Reda in addition to being highly educated and religious as described by Al Mofeed in his book (Al Ershad) and those claim that Reda has recommended him and stressed on being imam after him. |
|
c) |
Other group of the shia'at gathered around the Imam Mohamed bin AL Qassim bin Omar bin Ali bin Al Hussain bin Ali bin Abi Taleb who was living in Kofa and was known for his worship, religion, education, feqh and has started a revolution against the Khalifa Al Moa'atasem in Taleqan in the year (218 Hijra). |
|
d) |
Another group named Al Jawad as imam but encountered another problem of the young age of Imam Al Jawad once more with his son Ali Al Hadi for Al Jawad has died before completing twenty five years of age and his only two sons Ali and Moosa were very young and the eldest one was seven years only. Since Al Hadi was young upon the death of Al Jawad, his father recommended that all the money, properties, expenses and the slaves would go to (Abdullah bin AL Meswar) and ordered him to transferred them to Al Hadi when he reaches the age, this was witnessed by Ahmed bin Abi Khalid who is Abi Jaafar's sire. |
The shia'at at that time were drove to think: if Al Hadi was not able, as his father decided, to run the funds, properties and expenses, than who was the imam at that period? And how would a small child carry out the duties of the imam? This question was raised by some people upon the death of Imam Al Reda before when Al Jawad was a small child and the matter grew more complicated for the brothers Ali and Moosa, who would be the imam from them?
The Kulaini and Al Mofeed indicate this ambiguity which hit the shia'at concerning the identity of the imam after Al Jawad and the ignorance of the senior shia'at of the identity of the new Imam and their meeting at Mohamed bin Al faraj to discuss the matter and the arrival of a person and told them of imam Al Jawad's secret about naming his son Ali Al Hadi as Imam.
This confusion and ambiguity concerning the Imamah has led to the division of the shia'at (Imamiah) the followers of Al Jawad to two parts:
-
One part confirmed Al Hadi as Imam.
-
Another part confirmed his brother Moosa Al Mobarqa as Imam.
But Imam Al Hadi surprised all the people when he nominated his son as his successor and this son died during Imam Al Hadi's period who nominated his other son (Hasan Al Askari) and said (Son, please thank God for he have created a matter within you).
Al Kulaini, Al Mofeed and Al Tousi narrated about Abi Hashem Dawood bin Al Qassim Al Jaafari saying: I was at Abi Al Hasan Al Askari during the death of his father Abi Jaafar, who referred and indicated him, I think about my self and say: this is the story of my father Ebrahim and the story of Ismail, come to me Aba Al Hasan and said: Yes Aba Hashem, God have chosen Abi Jaafar and replaced him with Aba Mohamed as Ismail was chosen after he was recommended by Abu Abdullah and was confirmed which you have thought and denied by the abolishers…… Abu Mohamed my son my successor, he has what you need and is the Imam thank you lord.
And whatever happened with the (Ismailiah) who denied the death of Ismail bin Jaafar as recommended by Jaafar Al Sadig, part of the Imam Al Reda followers rejected the confirmation of the death of his son Mohamed and insisted on saying that he is still alive and is in hiding and claim that the announced made by Al Hadi of his sons death was some sort of Tuqya (lie) and covering up the truth.
But the death of Hasan Al Askari in Samerra in the year (260 Hijra) without naming his predecessor triggered great big crises amongst the shia'at Imamiah who believe the necessity of continuing the God naming imam after him and have divided into fourteen groups as indicated by Al Qomi in his book (Articles and Groups), the Nobakhti in (Shia'at groups) Ibn Abi Zainab Al Noamani in (AL Ghaibah), Al Sadouk in (Ekmal Dini), Al Mofeed in (Al Ershad), Al Tousi in (Al Ghaibah) and other shia'at scholars.
The Expected Al Mahdi
The faith about the re-appearance of Al Madi at the end of the time, being a member of the Prophet's family and particularly from Fatima Al Zahra's sons, is a certitude matter that should not be doubted and is not a matter to be discussed between Sunnis or shia'at.
I have learned like any other shia'at, to hang to the character of (Saheb Al Zaman) and also learned from childhood that my imam has many names for he is (Hujat Allah), (Al Qaem), (Saheb Al Zaman), Abu Saleh), (Saheb Al Amr) and (Sahb Al Asr)… but have not expected that this character which I have admired and attached thereto during my childhood and who attributed all my hopes and happiness could be a delusive character.
My love for the Imam has prevented me from thinking clearly about the matter but the free thought lead me thereto.
The title of Saheb Al Zaman that shocked me
Some of the most important matter that shocked me was a title for Saheb Al Zaman and was mentioned by the scholar Nori Al Tubrosi in his book (Al Najm Al Thaqeb fi Ahwal Al Imam Al Ghaeb).
This scholar is a well known figure and certain scholars like Shaikh Abbas Al Qomi, Shaikh Agha Bozork Tahrani, Shaikh Mohamed Hussain Al Kashef Al Gheta and Sayed Abdul Hussain Sharaf Al Mosawi were among his students. He has mentioned that one of Saheb Al Zaman's titles was (Khusro Majos) which is his forty seventh title.
It is a real great surprise to call our imam as Khusro Majos and what the magus has to do with our Imam.
The Imam will come to take revenge from Al-Al bait enemies precisely Abu Baker and Omar…. This is what we have learned; During the Khalifa Omar bin Al Khattab's rule, Iran was concurred, Islam has spread therein and prayers were held for the first time in history, from this point I began to realize the connection between the two matters.
But if you want to be shocked, read this novel from Behar Al Anwar for the scholar Al Majlesi with me.
Al Majlesi narrated from Al Noshejan bin Al Budmerdan who said "when the Furs vacated Al Qadesia and Yazdagerd bin Shahrayer knew what has happened to Rustom and how Arabs have defeated him and thought that Rustom and the Furs have all vanished, a man called Mobader came to him and informed him about Al Qadesia in which fifty thousand were killed from the troops, Yazdagerd Ran away with his family but before that, he stood at the hall and said "greetings oh great hall, I am leaving you and shall come back either me or a man from my son whose time has not yet come.
Suleiman AL Daylame said: I asked Aba Abdullah about that story and the sentence Yazdagerd has said "or a man from my son?" he said "that’s your man (Al Qaem Beamr Allah) the sixth member of my sons was born to Yazdagerd and it is his son.
It a day of revenge.
Sahib Al Zaman, son of Yazdagerd will take revenge for his furs ancestors from the Muslims who defeated the Furs, and that what the narration means which explains that title (Khusro Majos).
God is great, where were you from these facts?
I still have more shocking and more surprising.
In the book of (Al Ghaibah) for Mohamed bin Ebrahim AL Noa'mani (page 234) for Aba Abdullah who said "when Al Qaem comes out, the only thing between him and the Arabs and Quraish but the sword and whatever he takes is by the sword.
Why all this hatred for the Arabs and Quraish in particular. This is not all, the narration also provides that Al Qaem upon his presence will shed the blood of seventy of the Arab tribes.
Try connecting between all this and what has been indicated above, that one of Saheb Al Zaman's title is (Khosro Majos) and his grandfather Yazdajer has threatened the Muslims who removed him and his people from the throne with the arrival of Saheb Al Zaman.
Facts like thunder over the head of every sensible man.
A story which we have believed for we do not want to use our brains
I was told a story during my early years which I have believed without even thinking how genuine it is. The summary of this story is that, Imam Hasan Al Askari asked for (Beshr bin Suleiman Al Nakhas) and told him that "I will tell you a secret which has never been told to any one but you, he wrote a letter, put his seal on it and gave him two hundred and twenty Dinars and asked him to take this money, go to the slaves market in Baghdad and and look for a man called (Omar bin Yazeed Al Nakhas) and amongst his slaves you will find a girl ( gave him her descriptions) who would not permit men to examine her, if you see her, then show her this letter.
So Beshr left to Baghdad and found what the Imam has told him and we he give the letter to the girl, she started weeping and asked Omar bin Yazeed to sell her to the man. Beshr asked after selling her from Yazeed about the reason for her crying, she told him that she is (Malika daughter of Yashoua'a son of Caesar, the King of Rome and her mother is related to Jesus guardian
Shaimon bin Hammon bin Al Safa). She also told him a strange story about her grandfather the Caesar who wanted her to marry his nephew and how she saw the Prophet Mohamed (pbuh) in her dream asking for hand for marriage from Jesus Guardian and she also has seen Fatima Al Zahra'a and Mariam bint Omran in addition to a thousand of the Paradise's Abigail's, she also saw Imam Hasan Al Askari in her dreams and told her that, her grandfather shall lead an army to battle with the Muslims on a particular day and she has to follow that army disguising as a maid and how she was caught after that.
This is the story of Saheb Al Zaman's mother, a story that is good to be a movie film not for a Muslim's belief which Quran has come to free his brain from all this rubbish and similar stories.
The narration also indicates that: us guardians were not carried in our mothers bellies but in their sides and we do not come out from their uteruses but from their right thighs because we are God's illuminators and no impurity would inflict upon us.
So the prophets are born from their mothers uteruses and the guardians are far above this. What kind of Islam is this that accepts such talk?
As for the birth of Saheb Al Zaman, the narration indicates that: When he was born, a bright light was visible that has reached the sky, white birds coming down from the sky rub their wings over his head and the rest of his body and then fly away. Abu Mohamed Al Hasan yelled and said: Oh aunt, bring him to me, and as soon as she handed him over embraced him, he found that he was circumcised, with removed navel cord, cleaned and was written on his right arm (Royalty has appeared and injustice has perished).
As for the Sharia'a which Saheb Al Zaman shall rule therewith is something other the Sharia'a of Islam.
Ibn Babawiah Al Qummi indicates in his book (The Beliefs) that, upon the return of Al Mahdi from his long absence he shall revoke the Islamic Sharia'a with regard to the Inheritance provisions. Al Sadiq indicates that "God, before two thousand years, has associated the souls in paradise before creating the bodies and if the our brother returns, the brothers whose souls have been associated in paradise may inherit each other but your actual brother from birth would not inherit", and he shall kill whoever reaches twenty and has not learned any thing about religion.
His ruling shall be according to David's sharia'a and not with Islam and practiced by Mohamed (pbuh). The shia'at narrations indicate "upon the return of Saheb Al Zaman, he shall rule according to the provisions of David and Suleiman and shall not be asked for evidence and in other words "upon the
return of Saheb Al Zaman, he shall rule according to the provisions of David and may not be asked for any evidence.
The meaning of this idea is, upon the return of Al Mahdi, he shall revoke the provisions of the Quran and shall replace with another book which was indicated in the Noamani's narration, Abi Basheer said "the Qaem shall have his own new rules, book and judgments" … "and I imagine him between the two corners of Ka'aba being recognized by the people with his new book". Furthermore, the Muslims holy places shall also be demolished by him as indicated by the narrations which provide that "upon the return of Al Qaem, he shall demolish both the Ka'aba and the prophet's mosque and remove them from their foundations and shall rebuild the Ka'aba from its foundations".
Why Saheb Al Zaman is absent all this time?
The believers of Saheb Al Zaman's character answer the question by saying that, There is a problem that prevents him from coming out and once that problem vanishes he will appear.
They also clarify this problem that hinders Al Mahdi from appearing by saying "There is no problem except that he is afraid that he may be killed otherwise there is no reason for him hide and bear all such difficulties and pain for the prestige of prophets and imams becomes greater for the great difficulties they sustain.
His fathers' biography is known to everyone because they have lived with the people and was not afraid of any one.
The believers have narrated many stories which indicate that the Prophet Mohamed (pbuh) was hiding in Mecca at the beginning of the mission fearing that he may be killed and here they compare the prophets hiding with Al Mahdi. Some of these narrations were told by Al Majlesi in his book (Al Behar (18/176) Abi Abdulla said "The prophet Mohamed (pbuh) was in Mecca hiding in fear from being killed for five years along with Ali and Khadija and was later order by God (Almighty) to come out and publicly invite the people to Islam. He also narrated in his book Al Behar (18/177) Abi Abdulla said "The Prophet (pbuh) has stayed in Mecca after the inspiration for thirteen years, three of which he was in hiding and not coming out until he was order by God to come out and invite people to Islam.
There are other narrations that have the same meaning which I have left to minimize.
This comparison with the great difference between them indicates that:
First: The Prophet (pbuh) was not hiding from the people but his mission was secret.
Second: The Prophet (pbuh) was in the company of his wife Khadija, Ali and others while Al Mahdi which they propose is not with any body.
Third: The Prophet (pbuh) was in hiding and than came out but during the period he was in hiding he was preparing for the mission and has prepared other followers to assist him with this mission.
And as for Al Mahdi, he is in hiding with no followers, even if the Shia'at are his followers which every body know that since he went into his hiding have reached into millions, would this number be sufficient for Al Mahdi to come out and become safe with them and also fights with them.
One day, I was watching a program on the television in which the people were discussing the reality of Al Mahdi and the story of his hiding, the discussion was between two persons, one believes his existence and the other does not and both were shia'at.
Some the non believer's remarks about this matter is: if we approve the saying that whatever news and narration about the disappearance story of Al Mahdi is true and whatever is said in these narrations and stories that he is afraid that he may be killed by the Abbasies at that time, why would not he appear now on the television screens and we are in the satellite and internet age - or at least in a video tape as with most of the opposing and ran away political characters who are fighting the rules now a days- and hand it over to one of the people who claim they have met him to prove to the world and also to those who do not believe in his existence – as he is not an illusion, a lie or a fairy tale – to confirm the news and narrations about his existence.
Why they turn on the Cleric Mohamed Hussain Fadelallah?
Upon examining the shia'at situation these days finds that there is a wakening and vigilance that have been expected for a long time.
For the names that have appeared as critics to the extravagance which is within the ideology, have started to examine and revise such narration which were said during the processions, the Hussaini clerics, the bigotries from clerics sons without studying, have started to increase day by day.
Yesterday, Ayatolla Al Odma Abul Fadel Al Burqoei, Ahmed AL Kesrawi, cleric Al Khouei, Dr. Mosa Al Mosawi, Mohamed Al Yaseri, Ahmed Al Kateb and tody Ayatolla Al Odma Mohamed Hussain Fadelallah have arose.
Mr. Fadelalla has realised that certain ideological and historical dissertations – which he used to defend and illustrate during his early age, taking into consideration that he is considered a highly educated and a well known cleric amongst the shia'at – were not truly accurate.
From a historical point of view, Mr. Fadelalla has reached in his research and evaluation concerning the assault on Al Zahra'a and whatever indicated about beating her which has lead to the miscarriage, absolutely untrue.
For this announcement, Mr. Fadelalla has had much harm from his opponents and last but not least the fatwa which was issued describing him as an unbeliever and faithless.
In a statement which Mr. Fadelalla criticized his opponents concerning the assault incident of Al Zahra'a by saying "If you are in the house and someone comes to attack your wife and wanted to beat her, would you sit idle in your room or house and pray to God asking that such act will stop or charge at the person who wanted to assault your wife?
Ali bin Abi Taleb, this courageous man would allow people to attach his wife in such manner while he is at home without making an attempt to protect her, who would accept such a disgrace? No one".
He added (Why would Al Zahra'a opens the door … if you and your wife were in the house and someone knocks the door especially if security people are at the door wanting to arrest you, would you ask your wife to open the door for them? If such thing happened, Imam Ali is considered a cowered with no jealousy. They say that "Prophet Mohamed (pbuh) has advised him not to start any dispute about the Khilafat (ruling) but he did not advise him not to defend his wife.
On ideology level, one of his courageous statement which he made after careful thinking and deliberation in the texts of the holy Quran and sunnah that the Imamah is not a condition for being a Muslim or accepting the peoples doings, but it’s a theory that has been accepted by some Muslims and denied by the others, and Imamah from the variant that is subject to notarization and weakening.
Some of the matters which Mr. Fadelalla has attempted to rectify was his criticism to the knowledge of the imam to the unknown.
In his clarification to God (almighty) saying (Say (O Mohamed, to the believers) I say not unto you (that) I possess the treasures of Allah nor that I have knowledge of the unseen: and I say not unto you: Lo! I am an angel. I follow only that which is inspired in me. Say: Are the blind man and the seer equal? Will ye not then take thought? (50) (Al An'am), Mr. Fadelalla said that the quranic verse clearly indicates that the messenger does not know the unseen and God (almighty) does not want him to stand in front of the people telling them about confidential matters and the future things that will happen to every one of them on the basis of the unseen knowledge which only god know about as many people think that the Prophet is more or less like a druid.
These findings, regrettably has not found the people with clear conscious that could sit and debate over the matters which Mr. Fadelallah has reached thereto, but instead received renunciation and accusation of his aberration.
I remit whoever repents, have faith, made a good deed and politicized
For all this and many other facts that can not be included here, I was bound to follow the right path, I realised the truth after years of my struggle with my self.
I could not convince myself by saying that, I am a Shia'at believing in twelve imams and at the same time I do not believe in what these people believe in. I had to choose, for Islam does not accept the middle thing, you either follow the right thing or follow the wrong path.
I gave this matter a great thought and decided that, what would I loose if I convert from my ideology which I was born and raised to follow to another ideology confirmed by evidence and proof and is accepted by the instinct and morals.
I made my choice and did not loose but won.
Yes I have won the prophet's followers and did not loose the Prophet's family Al Albait) knowing that the followers and Al Albait are one soul in one body.
I am not the only one who has chosen this path, for there are others looking forward to God's forgiveness and this verse of Quran as the light which shall brighten their path "And lo! verily I am forgiving toward him who repenteth and believeth and doeth good, and afterward walketh aright" (Taha 82).
(Salah Al Kadhme) and the death fear
His family were surprised of his situation for he constantly speaks to them about death, realised his fears and that he may die soon for he sleeps for few hours and hardly eats, the doctors could not do any thing to him nor the clerics he was taken too claming that he was harmed by the underground creatures, lost a great amount of money for satisfying the clerics who were treating him. Brother Salah said "their treatment was conducted in a strange manner, some use weights, others with riddles and so on and Quran has no role in their treatment.
One of the Shia'at proposed that I should go to the Sunna clerics to read verses from Quran claiming that the sunnis breath cures the shia'at (according to their belief that devil only comes out only by another devil).
So I head to the close by Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal mosque and the moment the Shaikh (cleric) started reading Quran, Salah felt a comfortable sensation seeps through his body which much relaxation.
The Shaikh finished the recitation and during that time Salah was completely silent, did not speak a word except sitting in the mosque not wanting to leave for comfort and relaxation he witnessed during that time. The call for prayer has started and after the announcement made, Salah was amazed by the scene of people coming in to perform the prayer and without any hesitation he joined and pray with them. On the next day, the Imam was surprised when Salah came to the Mosque during the prayer's time and asked how he was, Salah Said thank God, I am in a better condition.
Salah has noticed that the sunna are more closer and knowledge of Quran, noticed their great respect to God, the matters which were forbidden from doing, their prayer which they perform together and also on Fridays when the shaikh addresses them filled with praising to the Lord and the contrary with the shia'at their imam praises Al Albait and talks about the imams and ignoring Quran.
He told me that, he sits in the mosque reading Quran and also mentioned how his heart has clinged to it in addition to the Shaikh's role in affirming this religious aspect.
Salah continued going to mosque until some of his friend noticed this matter and decided to talk to him and persuade him to leave whatever he is doing, but he did not care for them and always tells them that, I become more happy and content when I pray with the sunna and specially when the imam reads Quran during the public prayers.
The went to an extent of bringing some of shia'at clerics to convince him that he is not doing the right thing and ultimately entered into a long discussion with them. These gatherings took a long time in which he discussed with them, their allegation about distorting Quran in addition to ignoring it and its knowledge, and also went to an extent of bringing evidences from their own books about this matter and also their accusation about the distorting of Quran by the Prophet's followers. All this made these clerics ran away denying what they heard without any evidence or proof from their part.
Salah's family and friends were very surprised and mad from his conversion but he preferred complying to God rather than the people and today he benefiting from the fruits of such faith and Abu Abdul Rahman (Salah) became one of the diligent students. May God (almighty) grant him all the knowledge he seeks.
He went to Hajj a shia'at and returned a sunni
He used to live in Jidhafs area before moving to Manama, the capital of the Kingdom of Bahrain sells vegetables and has very close relations with three sunnis.
One day, while they were chatting, asked him why the shia'at always curse and defame Aisha (wife of the prophet), he could not deny that and said "frankly, all the shia'at hate and curse her and think that she will go to hell", one of the group said "haven’t you heard what God has said in Quran "The Prophet is closer to the believers than their selves and his wives are (as) their mothers" (Al Ahzab 6), explained to him its meaning, the man got confused and said "is this verse from Quran" this is the first time I hear such verse, they opened the Quran for his until they stopped at such verse, he said now I know that Aisha is my mother and the mother of every believer, she and the rest of all the Prophet's wives.
He said, I cannot deny what God has said and believe humans.
They also told him that, God has said about the Prophet's wives "O prophet: say unto thy wives: "if you desire the world's life and its adornment, come! I will content you and will release you with a fair release (28) but if you desire Allah and his messenger and the abode of the hereafter, than lo! Allah hath prepared for the good among you an immense reward (29)" (Al Ahzab 28-29).
The Sunnis and Shia'at both agreed that the prophet died and did not divorce any of his nine wives and the two Quranic verses are an order from God to his Messenger to divorce them if they prefer the adornment of live and to keep them if they prefer God, his messenger and life after death.
Would the disbeliever and the hypocrite prefers the after life rather than lives adornment?!, the answer is left to the sane…!
And if Aisha (mother of all believers) conceals disbelieve – God forbids- Would God know what thoughts she has in her heart and the heart of every person? So why he did not inform his messenger with this matter until he died while she is his wife and speaks as the mothers of all believers?!
The shia'at believes that the Prophet is impeccable from all the big and small sins and from mistake and forgetfulness, would they consider his marriage from the mother of all believers as one of his mistakes.
He asked himself: Why would I curse Umm Al Moamneen Aisha who is my mother and mother of all believers.
He went to some of the shia'at clerics and asked them about the Quranic verse "The Prophet is closer to the believers than their selves and his wives are (as) their mothers" (Al Ahzab 6), some tried to avoid answering this question while others confirm that the Prophet's wives are the mothers of all believers and is considered as a recommendation from God to them.
When Hajj season came closer, he left his home town hiding to the House of God in Mecca where God (almighty) opened his mind and soul to accept royalty and return back a sunni.
His man received a great reputation in the Kingdom of Bahrain and became the talk of the town in which he went to hajj a shia'at and returned a sunni.
Conclusion
To members of my family and friends,
To those whom I loved and they love me,
To those who love the Prophet's family and wanted to follow them,
To whoever wanted the truth and the bright light?
A clear invitation to meditate and think and respond to his instinct which god has described as "So set thy purpose (O Muhammad) for religion as a man by nature (framed) of Allah, in which he hath created man. There is no altering (the laws of) Allah's creation. That is the right religion, but most men know not (Ar-Rom 30)".
God has honored the human being with a brain and distinguished him from the rest of the creatures; therefore, man should appreciate such grace which God has granted us in confirmation to his saying "Will ye not then take thought (Al Ana'am 50)" and "Have ye then no sense? (Al Baqarah 44)" and "will ye not then see (Qasas 72)", all these verses urge us to think and deliberate, and to free the mind from the blind imitation.
The saint person should beware from the temptations and blind imitation which will grant him evil only so that they would not be like those described by God as "And if they answer thee not, then know that what they follow is their lusts. And who goeth farther astray than he who followeth his lust without guidance from Allah. Lo! Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk (Qasas 50)".
Our love for Al Albait is for their relation to the Prophet and their standing is derived from such relation and so with the followers who got their status for being so close to the Prophet. So the common factor is their love to the prophet, here are his family and also his followers and whoever like them, it is because of their love to God's messenger.
Therefore, upon realizing this fact not to hesitate in confirming such relationship between the his family and followers and to indicate in a clear voice that (I have won the prophet's followers but have not lost my love to his family).
The last words "thank you Lord and peace be upon his messenger, his family and followers till dooms day.
